Alzheimers/Dementia Care

Alzheimer and Dementia communities can be stand-alone or a special wing or floor of a larger, mixed community. They usually have locked or alarmed exits to prevent wandering. Caregivers are specially trained and the communities offer special programs designed to meet the needs of Alzheimer’s and other related memory disorders. These communities require a monthly fee of $5000-$10,000 and are licensed by the California Department of Social Services.
